Griffin Zigrang - CrossFit Coach - Nutrition Coach New Member Coordinator

Fitness/Nutrition Coach

Griffin Zigrang

Griffin was introduced to CrossFit in 2011 when she stumbled upon crossfit.com and started doing the WODs at her local globo gym. She was immediately hooked. After moving to CO in 2014 she joined her first affiliate at CrossFit Ken Caryl, and a few months later, found her place at CrossFit 720.

Griffin was a gymnast from the time she could toddle until she was a 14-year old Level 9/10. She was forced to quit due to scoliosis and the inevitable, spinal fusion surgery. After surgery, she moved on to power tumbling, competitive cheerleading, and competitive dance, but gymnastics was a passion that, years later, she still hasn't gotten over. You will see evidence of this in her classes as she focuses on movement, proper body positions, and strict strength.

Pre-CrossFit, Griffin earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Longwood University and Master of Art in Organizational Behavior and Program Evaluation from Claremont Graduate University. She did program evaluation work in the public sector, both at the federal and local levels, for six years before acknowledging that the fitness world was where she needed to be.

Savannah Fearns crossfit coach denver

Olympic Lifting/Fitness Coach

Savannah Fearns

Savannah found CrossFit in 2012 while attempting to shake off some weight. Having grown up playing soccer, swimming, snowboarding and being raised in the military, physical activity has always been a necessity. But even after joining the military herself, she still managed to fall into a funk. She dropped the weight, yet felt weak until she found a group of CrossFit inspired friends at the base gym. This gave her a new respect for strength and weight gain and from there she took it by storm. Realizing the liberating effect the iron therapy had on her life and many others, she proceeded to get her Level 1 in 2014 and could only hope to share the same joy that she’s had with her new found health.

Since then she has coached at 5 gyms over 2 states and regularly entered CrossFit and Weightlifting competitions.

Her favorite lifts are the Snatch and the Deadlift; she has placed 2nd at the Colorado State Weightlifting Meet in the 69kg class.
